Janssen & Philips Development Company Ltd. is a combination of century-old traditions of Flemish craftsmenship building on innovative architectural and engineering solutions to a young and dynamically developing Polish construction corporation.

Philips Janssen & Development Company Ltd has its roots in the  Belgian company Janssen Aannemingen NV, one of the oldest and most honoured of construction companies in this part of Europe and the owners of the Polish company Samuelson and Nordhaus. The latter, since 2000 gained numerous successes in the European Union as a general contractor in the area of multifamily housing projects 

From  Belgium, Samuelson & Nordhaus, as a General Contractor, undertook the implementation of construction contracts in large mixed use developments. Soon, the circle of those interested in working with Samuelson & Nordhaus expanded to include the largest Benelux developers, with whom fruitful cooperation continues today. In 2007 the consequence of a successful cooperation between Janssen Aannemingen NV and Samuelson & Nordhaus resulted in the creation Philips Janssen & Development Ltd., based in Rumia and the appointment of the first joint development project called Gardens Wejhera in Wejherowo.
